The day starts with a scenic ride from
your hotel to a restaurant overlooking Lake Batur and the still
active volcano, Mount Batur, where you enjoy morning tea, light
snacks and fresh fruits. Once morning tea is over you are
transported by coach to the assembly point to start the tour. There
you will be met by the guides and fitted with a bicycle, safety
helmet, riding gloves and bottled water.
Our guides will give a briefing on the areas that he
will take you through and explain the safety tips which must be
followed at all times during the tour. The entire group is then
divided into groups of 5 or 6 persons with one guide being assigned
each subgroup.
Then you are off on a leisurely, mostly downhill trail
from Mount Batur that leads you through sleepy villages and secret
back-road trails and tracks. Frequent stops along the way give you
an opportunity to visit temples, farms and traditional villages that
offer an insight into a Bali that is not commonly seen.
